In spite of its being the world's smallest and lightest LCD projector*, the P1SD makes it easy to view images that are much larger than those on a conventional TV. It lets you literally fill an entire wall with dynamic images. *As of January 2006.

Daylight View technology and Panasonic's innovative ALS (Ambient Light Sensor) greatly improve image performance even in brightly lit places. This eliminates the need to take special measures to darken the room, and lets you enjoy the large-screen images of the P1SD even in afternoon brightness.

You can select the picture mode that best matches the image source and room conditions.

Natural
Best in dark rooms.

Standard
For rooms with regular lighting conditions.

Dynamic
For exceptionally bright rooms.

Photo*
For still pictures from an SD Memory Card.

Auto*
Automatically switches to the best picture mode. *Applicable only to images input from an SD Memory Card.

Being able to select the aspect ratio lets you match the projection to the input signal, for optimum images ranging from digital stills to movies.

Auto (S-Video only)
When an S-Video signal is being input, the aspect ratio is changed automatically to project a 16:9 picture.

16:9
The picture is compressed to a ratio of 16:9 and projected.

4:3
he input signal is projected without change.
